iPods for Seniors

The AOOA is Collecting iPods to be distributed to
nursing care facilities.  These iPods will be delivered
to help provide therapy to nursing home patients
who are suffering memory loss.

The program's preference (if you're donating a
new device) is the iPod Shuffle, which usually runs
$49 or less.  Other working used iPods and
different brands will also be accepted.
Used devices will be sent to the Music & Memory
Project in New York to be cleaned, etc. and
distributed around the country.  The new
Shuffle iPods will be given to the Ohio Department
of Aging to be distributed to facilities in Ohio.
We will also accept monetary donations to
purchase new devices and iTunes gift cards for the
music to be downloaded.
